Alexa joined the Sahara Animal Hospital family in 2025, but her connection to our hospital began long before she officially became part of our team. Growing up, Alexa would visit Sahara with her aunt, who dedicated more than 12 years to our hospital in various roles, including Veterinary Assistant, Licensed Veterinary Technician, and Manager. Those early visits gave Alexa a glimpse into the world of veterinary medicine and the compassionate care that has always been at the heart of Sahara Animal Hospital.
Today, Alexa brings that same appreciation for animals and our team into her role at the front desk. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she contributes to a welcoming environment for our clients, patients, and coworkers alike. Her quick wit, upbeat personality, and natural sense of humor bring plenty of laughter to our workplace, making her someone who helps keep spirits high even on our busiest days. With Alexa around, there is never a dull moment!
Her love for animals extends well beyond the workplace. Alexa has a special place in her heart for cats and is passionate about helping those in need. One memorable example is when she took in an abandoned cat left in our hospital lobby, giving that little patient a second chance at a loving home.
